As One

Sitting in sacrament meeting today, amongst those that we've worshipped with for more than a decade, I was struck beyond the ordinary with the power of that gathering publicy showing their desires to always remember Him. Just run-of-the-mill people who mess up, but remember and seek and try again. In thousands of congregations world-wide that sacred ritual was performed today, and grace was sought and found and hearts were filled. It's enough to give one hope beyond measure in this troubled world and it's a beautiful thing.

  1. I agree - to us it seems such an ordinary thing that we do each week, with the same people around us - but it is very extraordinary!

  5. in institute today we read this quote from president Kimball:

" Much of the major growth that is coming to the Church in the last days will come because many of the good women of the world (in whom there is often such an inner sense of spirituality) will be drawn to the Church in large numbers. This will happen to the degree that the women of the Church reflect righteousness and articulateness in their lives and to the degree that the women of the Church are seen as distinct and different—in happy ways—from the women of the world."

and it totally reminded me of your blog, and other happy moms who blog. :)

  6. A beautiful thought. Isn't it nice that we know there's hope even when we mess up.
